Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers, both occupations which she has herself taken up. As a young girl the actress was first seen in her debut film Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. The film featured her in a lead role in the film as Cristina Comencini in her first film Zoo, the year 1988. Michele Soavi directed The Church 1989. Anna Lou was her first born daughter in 2001. After having directed a number of music videos she had Anna Lou. She appeared in 2002 featured in The Red Siren directed by Olivier Megaton and starred alongside Jean-Marc Barr. Rob Cohen also directed the action-packed thriller featuring Vin Diesel. Asia is also the author of numerous short stories published in many high-end magazines.
